Host Programme to European Investors
Aqua Welcomes All Newcomers to the Region...
The drive is on to attract new investors to the Kingdom. For example, on the 20th July 2006 the Bahraini Government co-sponsored, with the Middle East Association, a seminar in London specifically to brief British companies on current and potential trade and investment opportunities in Bahrain.
As a regional hub Bahrain is perfectly placed for access to the whole Middle East. The infrastructure and open economy makes the Kingdom an attractive proposition for companies interested in the region.
The Economic Development Board along with key Bahraini ministries and representatives of the British government are building a solid pathway for new entrants. Aqua Resources Group, who established themselves in Bahrain in 2003, has just announced a package designed to welcome British companies that want to see the Kingdom for themselves.
Called simply the ‘Host Programme’, Aqua is promoting Bahrain by offering to organise flights, transport, accommodation, office space and introductions to key people in the Kingdom. Offered as a three to five day package, it will enable interested parties to come to the Kingdom and enjoy a stress free information gathering tour hosted by Aqua.
Aqua’s CEO, Matt Thompsett says “…our team in Bahrain are looking forward to helping companies understand the opportunities here, it’s about good business and supporting the Kingdom’s growth”
Bahrain is undergoing phenomenal growth, manufacturing, technology, engineering, construction are all booming. Aqua’s offer is already attracting interest from a wide range, companies are being encouraged to use the programme to develop business plans for entry to the region.
